Email Notifications
todoke sends the following operational notifications to your account email address as bilingual Japanese-and-English plain-text messages.
| Event | When it is sent |
|---|---|
| Free plan monthly usage approaches the limit | Successful deliveries first reach 80% or 100% of the monthly limit (once per threshold per month) |
| Delivery failure rate spikes | At least 20 delivery results were recorded in the last 60 minutes and failed / (successful + failed) is greater than 50% (once every 24 hours) |
| An API key is created | Every time an API key is created from the dashboard, API (including the CLI), or MCP |
API key creation emails include the app name, key name, scope, creation path, and UTC timestamp. The raw API key is never included.
Email delivery is best-effort. If a usage-threshold email fails, todoke records a warning but does not retry it after the threshold has been crossed. To mitigate repeated emails to third-party addresses, todoke normally sends at most 20 emails per user per day. This KV-backed cap is also best-effort and may be exceeded during concurrent processing or KV failures.
Verify your email address
Section titled “Verify your email address”Operational notifications are sent only to email addresses whose ownership has been verified. When you register with an email address and password, todoke sends a verification link that remains valid for 24 hours. You can still sign in before verification, but operational notifications remain paused until verification is complete.
To resend the message, select 確認メールを再送 (Resend verification email) in the unverified-email banner on the dashboard. Resends are limited to once every 10 minutes. Because verification messages are required to confirm ownership, they are not affected by the opt-out setting below or the normal 20-emails-per-day cap.
When you register or sign in with GitHub, todoke automatically trusts the verified primary email address returned by GitHub. If GitHub keeps your email private and does not return a verified primary address, todoke may store a synthetic @noreply.todoke address. Email cannot be delivered to that address; make your email public on GitHub and sign in again.
Stop receiving emails
Section titled “Stop receiving emails”- Open the app list in the todoke dashboard.
- In メール通知 (Email notifications), clear メール通知(上限接近・失敗率の急増・API キー発行).
- Confirm that the page displays メール通知をオフにしました (Email notifications turned off).
Select the same checkbox again to resume delivery.
